Many folks are unemployed and under stress. The unemployment figures are skewed as many have stopped earnestly looking for work. Unless you're independently wealthy, the stress engendered by such a situation can be extreme.

How many leads, interviews and rejections can a person handle before the veneer begins to crack? Most cannot afford to give up looking for employment and quitting is not an option. This results in a person being squeezed on the one side by stress, and on the other by a lack of motivation derived from past experience (fear).

People change on a constant basis and we are not the people we were yesterday. Our mind and brain can act on input and that is where some control over our actions can be attained. We all deal with stress in our own way. It is up to the individual to find what works for them. It could be going for a run, meditation, or whatever works. The motivation is the difficult part.

Most people trust their own thinking. It is a unique individual that can seriously challenge their own thought patterns. If one is in a bad situation, their thinking probably had something to do with it. Our part in ill fortune should not be swept under the rug.

With this in mind, realize that one's own thoughts may be the problem. If this is the case, don't think. If one must do something and is beset by rationalization and excuses it is apparent that they must proceed without falling into the abyss of a dead-end thought pattern. One must focus on the goal and simply act without thought. Bypass the internal gridlock and jump to the clear road ahead. I guarantee that you will wonder why there was an issue once you look back and see the obstacle for what it was.

The world is waiting...just dance.
